Collect — the panchayat / tehsildar / NDRF note confirming the slide for that date and road, highway-closure notice (NHAI / BRO / state PWD), and photos of the vehicle beneath / amongst the debris before clearance. Common insurer trap: a vehicle that was being driven at the time (vs parked) must have the driver's DL verified — if the DL class was invalid for the terrain (e.g. LMV in a steep gradient commercial route), insurer may deny.
