Treat as (a) animal-caused external damage if the carcass is still visible and the garage opens the bay in presence of the surveyor — payable under OD, or (b) rodent-type exclusion if there is only burnt wiring and nothing to show. Insist on garage photos BEFORE repair starts, panchayat / forest department note where available. Do not accept a "snake caused the fire" story if the pattern looks like simple short-circuit / self-ignition.
