Surveyor's verdict / key conditions सर्वेयर की जाँच
If the modification is linked to the proximate cause of the loss (e.g. non-endorsed CNG kit = fire, non-endorsed roof-carrier = overturning), the claim is strongly repudiable. If unrelated to cause, the modification cost is not payable and depreciation applies to the standard factory-fit equivalent. ALWAYS photograph the modification + check RC and policy endorsement — if missing, record in compliance remarks and declare to the insurer up front.
